Gym Rules |
GENERAL:
- Participants are permitted on the equipment or training
areas with an instructor only. No entry to the floor or any
equipment will be allowed to a non-participant at any time.
- Adults are not allowed on equipment at any time.
- If you need the attention of a participant, please see the
front desk for assistance.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises, which also includes
the parking lot.
- No gum chewing is allowed in the gym.
- When a class is dismissed, students must wait inside to be
picked up by a caretaker, parent or guardian. Fee charged to
account for chronic late pick-ups.

STUDENT DRESS AND BEHAVIOR:
- Please leave all jewelry at home, including watches and
earrings. Flagstaff Gymnastics is not responsible for lost
items.
- Loose clothing is not permitted. In many activities, a
person's body must be spotted and loose clothing gets in the
way.
- Long hair must be tied back. Long hair is any length of hair
which can swing into the eyes.
- Respectful social behavior is expected of all students.
Unacceptable behavior includes cutting in line, pushing, hitting
and bad language. Participants who are continually disruptive
will be asked to seek instruction elsewhere.
- If you leave class, you must tell your instructor. This
includes going to the restroom, lobby or for early dismissal.
- If at any time you feel unusual pain or discomfort, it is
your responsibility to report this to your instructor
immediately.

SNOW POLICY:
- Flagstaff Gymnastics Center will remain open unless the City of
Flagstaff has declared a state of emergency due to snow
conditions.
- In the case that we need to close due to snow
conditions, we will update the voice mail to indicate so.

PARENT VIEWING AND SIBLINGS:
- Class viewing is only permitted in the designated viewing
area located upstairs.
- Please keep all non-participant siblings with a parent or
guardian at all times.
- No standing or sitting on stairs or stairs landings at any
time.

TRAMPOLINE AND PIT SAFETY:
- To avoid serious injury, bounce only in the center of the
trampoline on feet or bottom only.
- One student at a time on trampolines. Absolutely no double
bouncing is permitted.
- No bouncing off trampoline. Stop and walk to the edge before
getting off.
- When jumping into the pit, feet and seat entry only. Head or
stomach first can cause serious injuries.
- Watch for other students in the pit landing areas before
entry.

CRAWLING TO WALKING AND PARENT-TOT:
- The parent is the child's instructor. Our responsibility is
to coach the parent or caregiver.
- A parent or caregiver must supervise their child at all
times. Please keep your focus on the safety of your child.
- ONE parent per child only.
- Siblings must sit by entry way - they cannot participate.
