What is the Tuition Payment Policy?

Tuition is billed in "sessions." Generally, our sessions are 8 weeks long. Some sessions may be longer or shorter, summer for example. If the session is longer than 8 weeks, you will only have to pay for the eight weeks, and receive the extra week(s) in the session for free. If the session is shorter than 8 weeks the price will be adjusted accordingly.

We ask all tuitions be paid during Early Bird Week, which is generally two weeks before the new session starts. This helps us to schedule classes as well as prepare for coaches. Early Bird week will save you $10 off regular price tuition.

What forms of payments are accepted at FGC?

We gladly accept personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. Checks can be mailed to our address to save an extra trip, or Credit Cards can be called in. Please NO Cash! We have a difficult time making change for hundreds of parents each session.

What if I refer someone to FGC? If a new member signs up and places your family name on their wavier information as referral, we will credit to your account $10. (The $10 can be used for future tuition payments or leotards. No cash will be given. Non-transferable).

What if my child misses a class?

It is the responsibility of the parents and students to attend all scheduled classes. We understand that a class or two will be missed because of unavoidable circumstances or illness. If your child must miss a scheduled class they will be allowed to make-up their class during another class of the same level.  Only 2 Make-ups are allowed per 8-week session. Please avoid missing an extreme amount of classes.

JOINING, DROPPING. CHANGING CLASSES:

Flagstaff Gymnastics Center (FGC) has recreational gymnastic terms set up on an 8-week session. On occasion, FGC can change these 8 weeks to a different length to even out the year. (Summer for example).

Joining: Enrollment is ALWAYS OPEN to new students. Any student can join at any time during the term and receive the prorated price for the remainder of that term, plus registration. (See payment section).
Dropping: Dropping a class or missing classes after the session has started: FGC does not give prorated refunds (Except Medical reasons). Missed classes can be made up. A medical reason for dropping must be accompanied by a licensed medical practitioner to receive a prorated refund or credit. Credits will remain on the student's account until he/she resumes taking classes.
Changing Classes: Changing classes mid-session is easy. In the event of a personal schedule change, please notify the front desk. The front desk employee will gladly help you find a time and day that is open and available to suit your new schedule. Class changes are not guaranteed, and depend only on availability of spots in other classes. Please, no jumping classes or days without notifying the front desk.
ABSENCES & MAKE-UPS:

Make Ups: Tuition pays for your child's spot in your student's specific class. New for this year is the new Make-up policy. To avoid overcrowded classes, make-ups will need to be cleared with the front desk.

PARENT TOT GUIDELINES:
  • Come prepared to have fun!
  • Please try and be here a few minutes early so you don't miss out on our warm up fun. It is very important for little muscles to be warmed up too!
  • Let this be a time for you to focus on your child and their needs. Wait till after class to talk with your friends.
  • Encourage them to try everything. There are times that something may seem a little scary to them; just making an attempt is great.
  • Be patient. Sometimes it takes a few times before they feel comfortable in the gym. They will soon love every moment.
  • Use this time to help them learn social skills, like taking turns, which will help them when they enter school.
  • Help them to listen to and follow the teacher's instructions. Don't allow them to wander off on their own. Their preschool teachers will thank you later for all of your hard work!
  • Siblings are not allowed to participate in class. They may sit on the side and watch (no sideline gymnastics!). If possible, leave them at home so you can focus on having lots of fun with just one child.
  • Most importantly, this is time for you and your child to be together, having fun and making wonderful memories. Enjoy yourselves!
